What We Believe

We hold to the following declaration of faith.
We believe in...

God - We believe there is one true and eternal God, consisting of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ - We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate who died for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return one day to gather all believers to Himself.

The Holy Spirit - We believe in the divine person of the Holy Spirit, who is of one substance, majesty, and glory with the Father and Son.

The Bible - We believe in the full authority of the Bible which is God’s inspired word.

Eternal Life - We believe in the reality of heaven for those who have committed their life to Christ and we believe eternal suffering in hell is the judgment of those who reject Christ.

Salvation - We believe the forgiveness of sin and the gift of eternal life is found only in Jesus Christ. Salvation is the free gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus.

Sanctification - We believe that after we are saved, God desires that we grow and mature as believers. Sanctification is a lifelong process of maturation as a believer.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit - We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to change our lives and empower us to live for Christ. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available through faith and we believe in the present ministry of all biblical spiritual gifts.

Water Baptism - We believe in water baptism by immersion for those who declare themselves as followers of Christ. Water Baptism is an outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual experience and is not a requirement for salvation.

Divine Healing - We believe in the miraculous power of God and that He still performs all types of miracles, including healing of the sick today by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

The Rapture of the Church - We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to the earth to gather the church to Himself.

The Believer - We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his/her life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission (leading people to Christ and showing them how to live for Him).
